Diamine - Velvet Emerald | Inkvent 2023
Hello, hello, hello! For day 10 of the Diamine Inkvent 2023 we’re presented with a standard teal ink.
Let’s jump into some swatches.
Velvet Emerald is a standard ink - so that’s a win for the feeds of fountain pens everywhere. The colour is a beautiful deep teal colour with a bit of shading present in the ink. Mainly the takeaway though is the beautiful reddish sheening, most prominent on the Tomoe River and the Midori papers.
The colour is quite pretty, though I think I have a fair amount of greenish-blueish inks in my collection. This one sort of reminds me of Diamine Aurora Borealis, though leaning much more green than blue. I don’t think I’ll be using it for some time, but I probably will at some point. The ink is rather nice to have :)
