Diamine - Weeping Willow | Inkvent 2023
Hello! For day thirteen of the Diamine Inkvent 2023 we have a standard ink (that I am surprised I enjoy so much).
Let’s see some swatches ~
I was not expecting to like this colour. Just a quick judgment of the bottle, I was expecting something way too pale that I wouldn’t like. But - I reaaally like this colour. It’s such a lovely pale brown, and the multishading is awesome. I love the soft pink colour that pulls out in the shading, and the little hints of this pale green sheening around the ink.
The multishading comes out in all the papers, but it is so gorgeous on the Midori and the Tomoe River paper. On the Midori paper it kind of looks like a top down view of some sort of high fantasy mushroom forest.
The shading doesn’t pull through very much on the medium nib that I used in the long format writing example, so I can’t wait to toss this into a <BB> nib next year to just bask in the colour.
