Troublemaker Inks - Sea Glass
Another beautiful ink today! Sea Glass from Troublemaker Inks.
Let’s get into it.
Troublemaker Inks is a brand from the Philippines, and this bottle in particular has some cute fish iconography. This fountain pen ink is a multishading (or dual shading) ink. It’s a desaturated lighter green, and the shading comes out in sort of pinky-purple to almost brown depending on if it’s Tomoe River or Midori paper. The multishading is visible even on the Rhodia and Kokuyo paper to some degrees, which is a fantastic plus!
So this ink behaved really well for me - here it is using a glass dip pen. I have used it with a fountain pen (a double broad from Kaweco), and had no issues. I have seen others who’ve mentioned that the ink is a bit dry for them, or too pale in fine pens.
