Wowowow, this ink was a smack to the face of yellow (in a fun way). The colour really feels like a perfect yellow-gold, and it sports golden shimmer. The brightness makes it v fun, almost like a Christmas star (at least, I’m thinking of that since it’s Christmas time while I’m posting this).
I really enjoy the shading in the large pool on the Tomoe River paper, but that’s not going to show in writing, lol.

The writing sample here is done with a Kaweco Sport with a broad nib.
The writing experience was really smooth—it was the perfect wetness for a shimmery ink like this. Watching the shimmer flow onto the page and dry was also a delightful experience.
I don’t imagine I’ll be getting a full bottle of this because it’s not legible enough for me on a daily basis (I’ve got old eyes, sorrysorry). But the ink is very pretty, so if you’re wanting a balls to the wall pure yellow with shimmer, this is your ink!
