Hello! For day five of the Diamine Inkvent 2023, we’re treated to a chameleon ink, Nightfall.

Let’s get into it.

Nightfall is a sparkly chameleon, though I think the dark blue base makes the shimmer fairly subtle. It makes me think of a combination between Ferris Wheel Press Stroke of Midnight, and Roaring Patina Black. There’s a blue-teal shimmer and some red sheen, though both are fairly subtle.

Here’s a little close up of the shimmer for the ink, at an angle so you can see it properly.

I think the shimmery goodness is just a little too subtle for me, so I’m not sure how often I’ll reach back for this ink (especially with how great a calendar it is this year).
