A new black ink! This one from Birmingham Pen Co. is a deep black, and it has a bit of a teal-ish hue when you look at it from an angle. Otherwise, the ink seems fairly standard, without shading, sheen, or shimmer.

The ink behaves very well - I had no issue with it in my Kaweco as seen here. You might notice the fancier grind than normal! This is a cursive italic grind from Cy when he visited Buchan’s here in Vancouver.
