Ferris Wheel Press - Sparkling Champagne
Today’s fountain pen ink is the first one I ever filled in my Kaweco Sport <BB>, to really take advantage of the shimmer (and not clog up my other finer nibs!) It’s Sparkling Champagne from Canadian stationery brand, Ferris Wheel Press. This is a pale honey-gold colour, with a subtle gold shimmer.
I find the colour to be very pretty, though it’s just not an ink I find myself personally gravitating toward. I think I like when my gold inks have a bit more pizzazz, and when my honey inks have much more prominent shading. It is a pretty ink nonetheless, and did behave nicely in the large nib size. I also find it legible with a glass dip pen, and with the broad nib! I haven’t tried it in an extra fine nib though - it would be worth trying it in a sample if you like your nibs on the finer side.
