Wearingeul - Black Dream
Today’s fountain pen ink from Korean stationery brand, Wearingeul, is Black Dream. It was one of the inks that I took a screenshot of the original swatch by the brand and stuck on my wishlist list.

Black Dream is a beautiful, deep and saturated black ink. As seen in the swatches, there is a decent amount of shading. Subtle in the swatches is a red shimmer as well! That’s what drew me to the ink, though for me the shimmer is way more subtle than I was expecting. It does make the ink a bit more “business friendly”.

Writing Samples
I haven’t filled a pen yet with this colour, but here’s a writing sample using a monoline nib.
**As of November 14, 2023, I have inked a pen with this colour! I placed it in a TWSBI Eco with a medium nib. Ink flow was always good! I never had hard starts or anything with this ink. The only thing of note here is again, the shimmer in the ink is much too subtle for my taste.
